As we look forward to welcoming our familiar guests and new friends, we wish to reassure all about our rigorous standards and enhanced measures in maintaining a clean and safe environment, as we take everyone’s safety and well-being personally.
In our hotel, we are committed to the following preventative measures based on advice of local travel and health authorities:

 

Safe Arrival
• The temperature of all guests entering the hotel from main entrances will be monitored by our Temperature Measurement Scanner
• Pursuant to the Prevention & Control of Disease (Requirements & Directions) (Business & Premises) Regulation, all guests are required to use the latest version of “LeaveHomeSafe” mobile application upon entering the hotel.
• Effective from 24 February 2022, guests who enter specified scheduled premise(s), (e.g. restaurant) must comply with the COVID-19 vaccination requirements as set by Food and Health Bureau, with exception of the following:
(1) children aged under 12;
(2) holders of the COVID-19 Vaccination Medical Exemption Certificate (Exemption Certificate);
(3) for the only purpose of making purchase or taking of takeaway food or drinks;
(4) for the only purpose of delivering or picking up of an article;
(5) performing necessary repairs;
(6) receiving vaccination or medical treatment, or undergoing a specified test;
(7) receiving essential government service;
(8) participating in legal proceedings; or
(9) other scenarios with lawful authority or reasonable excuse.
Guests who fail to present a valid pass will not be permitted access to the scheduled premise(s).
• Guests will be requested to complete a compulsory Health and Travel Declaration form as a check-in procedure
• We follow the local government’s inbound travel regulation to exercise discretion when receiving our guests, please refer to the government website from here.
• Check-in procedure will not be proceeded for any guests who either have not completed both the compulsory quarantine and the self-monitoring period in accordance to the latest government requirement, or declare they have had contact with a confirmed case of COVID-19 or persons infected with symptoms of acute respiratory illness or have resided in or visited any buildings with confirmed COVID-19 cases or (effective from 24 Feb) have stayed at the premises within the area(s) under compulsory testing in the 21 days prior to arrival

 

Safe Service
• All colleagues are provided with necessary protective equipment and apparel specific to their duties
• While serving at the frontline, our colleagues will be wearing surgical face masks at all times and will minimise physical contact service
• Regular reminders, training and supervision are deployed to ensure our colleagues are vigilant and accustomed to the latest and highest hygiene standards, regulations and procedures for delivery of safe service
• All staff will observe travel and inbound regulations imposed by local authorities to ensure they report to duty in the most healthy condition
• Staff involved in the operation of the premises either have completed their vaccinations or to undergo a polymerase chain reaction-based nucleic acid test for COVID-19 according to latest government requirement, and ensure that the staff keep records of every SMS notification containing the result of the test for 31 days

 

Safe Environment
• Increased sanitisation frequency of all restaurants, guest facilities, common areas and furnitures
• Air purifiers and disinfectant dispensers are installed visibly in common areas. Catering premises are complying with specified government requirements on air change or air purifier(s).
• All public washroom facilities are installed with anti-bacterial liquid soap and hand sanitisers. Cubicles and high contact surfaces are disinfected hourly
• Other frequent touch points such as lift panels, hand rails, table tops, door and equipment handles, and entrance carpets are regularly sanitised

 

Safe Stay
• All housekeeping staff wear gloves and masks
• Each guest room is thoroughly cleaned and disinfected after every check-out
• Guest room furniture, draperies and linens are treated or steamed in high temperature and with cleaning chemicals for disinfection
• Guest room carpets and vents will undergo regular deep cleaning by professional vendor with approved disinfectant
• Personal guest amenities such as slippers are provided upon request and are disposable
• The smart water refill station on guest floors is designed with a hidden nozzle to prevent direct contact with foreign objects and entry of droplets and bacteria in the air. The built-in regular auto-rinsing function also helps to reduce the chance of bacteria build -up. The casing of the water station is also cleaned daily with steriliser spray for added disinfection
• Referral to medical assistance is made available for guests during their stay
• Clear procedures and contacts are made known to frontline staff to reach local health authorities when necessary

 

Safe Dining
• Effective from 24 February 2022, guests who enter specified scheduled premise(s), (e.g. restaurant) must comply with the COVID-19 vaccination requirements as set by Food and Health Bureau, with exception of the following:

• To maintain a spacious dining environment, tables are arranged at further distances of at least 1.5 m apart
• Guests are requested to wear a face mask and to keep the mask on when not consuming food or drink
• Guests will be provided with hand sanitiser and have body temperature measured upon entering restaurants
• All restaurant guests, except the three categories of persons as per Government regulation and those who order takeaway, must use the LeaveHomeSafe mobile app to scan the QR code before entering the premise
• Guests who have travelled overseas in the past 21 days are advised to visit the restaurant after the quarantine period
• Under the current legislation, the maximum number of guests per table depends on the mode of operation of individual restaurants
• Operating hours for dine-in service will be updated on timely manner subject to latest Prevention and Control of Disease (Requirements and Directions) (Business and Premises) Regulation (Cap. 599F).
• All kitchen, service and stewarding team members wear face masks, disposable gloves and any necessary protective equipment during their service
• Alcohol based disinfectant wipes and mask storage envelopes will be offered when guests are seated
• For guests who wish to dine at the comfort of their room, our popular and signature menus are available for takeaway
• The operation hours of dining facilities will remain flexible based on local requirements and regulations for safety and distancing. Guests are advised to visit our hotel websites or enquire with the hotel front office for the latest updates

 

Safe Departure and Return
• An online survey will be provided to guests after departure as we are keen to exceed expectations upon their return
• We will be keeping in touch with our latest privileges, health and travel advice through digital communications. Therefore, we encourage our guests to subscribe to our newsletters to plan ahead for the upcoming trip
